In the eighteenth century, books were published by subscription — readers pledged their names before the press ran, and the subscribers’ list was printed in the front of the volume. It was a mark of taste, conviction, and patronage.
We keep the tradition. Leave your name and we will write to you when new titles arrive — rarely, and only about books worth reading. A future Bulkington edition will carry a subscribers’ list, and your name in it.
No noise, no algorithms — just books.
